It depends on the hike. Summit tours or the North-East Rift require good fitness. Other treks are suitable even for less experienced hikers. Check the technical sheet for each tour.

No. All tours are conducted in authorized zones with expert guides. If volcanic or weather conditions are unsafe, the tour is modified or cancelled.

Hiking boots, backpack, water, layered clothing, windbreaker. For high altitude: hat, gloves, sunglasses.

Yes, from 10 years old. Some hikes require minimum age of 12–14. We evaluate case by case.

Meeting point is Piano Provenzana (Etna North), accessible by car. You'll get detailed directions after booking.

The excursion will be rescheduled, modified or refunded. Safety is our priority.

Yes, booking is required. Spots are limited and summit tours sell out quickly.

From Catania:

  • By car: take the A18 highway towards Messina, exit at Fiumefreddo, then follow signs to Linguaglossa and Piano Provenzana. Drive time: 1.5 hours.

  • By public transport: AST bus to Linguaglossa (limited schedule), then taxi or transfer.

From Taormina:

  • By car: take SS185 to Francavilla, then head to Linguaglossa > Piano Provenzana. About 1h15 drive.

  • By taxi/NCC: private transfers available on request.
