Description
Meeting point and departure at Piano Provenzana 1800 meters Etna Nord. The trek develops along the eruptive fracture dating back to the eruption of 27 October 2002, up to an altitude of 2100 meters. The landscape and the panorama give the idea of how this eruption has left an indelible mark still visible today to the eyes of tourists who visit the northern side of Etna.
The area, in fact, is located along an active fault of the volcano, and the route in fact allows us to visit and understand the geological dynamics related to the eruptions that have occurred on this side of Etna.
